Reservation Policies

​

Making a Reservation

Upon reservation balance is to be paid in Full.

For reservation cancelled more than 30days before arrival date a 50% refund will be made. Reservations cancelled less than 30days before arrival date the full amount will be retained.

Amending your Reservation

Reservations may be amended where availability allows. Should amendments result in the cancellation of a night(s) stay the above cancellation policy applies to the cancelled night(s) stay. If amendments result in a differential in the total balance of the stay this will be payable to secure the amendment to the booking.

Arrivals & Departures

Your Apartment will be ready for you by 4pm, and the property must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Keys can be retrieved from the Lockbox in the Porch; a code will be provided for you to access the lockbox and internal security door. On departure the key must be left in the assigned Lockbox. Keys not returned will be considered lost and relevant costs will be incurred by the guest.

Cleaning

The property should be left clean and tidy on departure and any damages must be reported prior to departure. Property left in a dirty or inappropriate manner may result in an additional cleaning surcharge.

Pets

No pets allowed on premises.

​

Smoking

No smoking, vaping or use of e-cigarettes is permitted on the premises.

​

Damages

All damages and losses will be charged in full.

​

Occupancy

The occupancy of your property should not extend beyond the number stated in the booking form.  

​

Vehicles/Personal Property

As well as cancellation and curtailment insurance, clients are recommended to take out holiday insurance to cover loss or damage to personal effects.

Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owners risk.

The proprietors will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any injury to persons not caused through the fault of the proprietor.

Holiday Protection

To minimise the cost and inconvenience of cancelled bookings we would strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance. You may have to forfeit the full cost of your holiday in certain circumstances.

Restriction on Rental

We reserve the right to remove person or persons from the property due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property, or exceeding the stated occupancy. In this case refund will be at the discretion of the owners.

Adverse Travel Conditions

Where there are ferry/plane disruptions due to bad weather conditions or any form of industrial action, Macleod Properties Ltd. can not be held responsible for non-arrival and no refunds will be given.
